Collecting Personal Information.
Advanced RPO operates primarily as a provider of business-to-business services. Unlike many companies and websites, we do not focus on consumer users or the collection of consumer data. To the extent we collect information online, our purpose is to better serve our clients.
You can visit most pages of Advanced RPO’s websites without giving us information about yourself; however, in some instances it may be necessary for you to share information with Advanced RPO to apply for jobs, request services, offer to provide services, or to allow us to provide information to you at your request. In the case where we do collect information from you, this Notice will explain how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information.
The information we collect when you browse our website includes (i) what you provide directly, such as your name or ordering information or any chat room postings or email messages you send to us, (ii) the webpages your browser visits; and (iii) aggregate data, such as the number of hits per week per webpage. Types of Personal Information Collected, Purposes of Collection, and Use
- Applicants/Candidates. We ask for certain data from job applicants, including educational and employment background, contact information and preferences, information regarding debarment under subsections 306(A) or 306(B) of the Generic Drug Enforcement Act of 1992, and job qualifications. If you are a candidate interested in applying for a job with Advanced RPO, you can review our Recruitment Privacy Policy, [NEED LINK], which provides details about how your personal information will be used as a candidate and as an employee of Advanced RPO
- Customer and Vendor. You may need to share your personal information with Advanced RPO to ask questions about or purchase our services, or to sell your (or your employer’s) services to Advanced RPO. In these instances, we will use your personal information as necessary to provide the requested information, products, and/or services.
- Study Participants. Advanced RPO manages RPO research trials as a CRO. In this capacity, Advanced RPO obtains pseudonymized medical and health information about trial participants that is collected by study sponsors and investigators at study sites. Advanced RPO may transmit this data out of the jurisdiction where it was collected. Advanced RPO will only process your information or share your information with third parties to the extent directed, required or permitted to do so by the RPO trial sponsor.
Cross Border Transfers.
Personal data may be transferred to a country outside of the EEA. Transfers to countries not deemed adequate by the EU are made according to the principles of appropriate safeguards as outlined in Article 46 of the GDPR.
Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
Personal data may be shared with third parties, including Advanced RPO’s affiliates, to fulfill the purposes for which the data was originally collected. Personal data is transferred to third parties pursuant to contractual obligations consistent with Article 28(4) of GDPR when applicable, and with this Privacy Notice. Advanced RPO may also disclose personal information to law enforcement, regulatory or other government agencies, or to other third parties as necessary to comply with legal, regulatory, or national security obligations or requests. By providing personal information to Advanced RPO, you are consenting to the disclosures described above.
Children’s Privacy
Advanced RPO does not collect or maintain information from individuals known to be under 13 years of age. If we obtain actual knowledge that we have received such information, we will take steps to delete it.
Data Retention
We retain personal information as necessary for the duration of the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice, and may retain your information, if necessary, to comply with our legal or professional obligations, to enforce our agreements or to resolve disputes.
Security and Confidentiality.
Advanced RPO maintains reasonable administrative, physical, and technical controls designed to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
Email Lists
Advanced RPO maintains email lists to keep interested parties informed about our company, events, products, support, and more. We do not sell the addresses on our list, but we may make information available to specific business partners, sponsors or service providers. Users may voluntary request to join our mailing lists by singing up or opt-in in through a form on our website.
To Unsubscribe from Our Communications
You may unsubscribe from our marketing communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located at the bottom of our emails, updating your communication preferences, or by sending us an email at privacy@advancedgroup.com. Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not prevent you from receiving transaction emails related to your account.
Your Rights to Access, Correct and Delete Your Personal Information.
Any person who wishes to exercise their rights under applicable data privacy law or who wishes to inquire about the processing of their data, should contact Advanced RPO in the manner provided in Contacts section below. Depending on the jurisdiction in which you are located, you may also have the right to request that we modify, delete or stop processing your personal information:
- Right to access and obtain a copy of your personal information: You are entitled to request confirmation whether Advanced RPO processes any of your personal information. Where this is the case, you may have access to your personal information and to certain information about how it is processed. In some cases, you can ask us to provide you with an electronic copy of your information. In some limited circumstances, you also have the right to request portability of your personal information.
- Right to correct your personal information: If you can demonstrate that the personal information we hold about you is not correct, you can ask that this information is updated or otherwise corrected.
- Right to be forgotten/have data deleted: In certain circumstances you have the right to have your personal data deleted. You may make such a request at any time and Advanced RPO will evaluate if your request should be granted, subject to any legal rights or obligations we may have to retain data. Where your request is granted, we will delete your information without delay.
- Right to restrict or object to the processing of your data: In certain circumstances you have the right to obtain restriction of the processing of your personal information, or to object on certain processing thereof on grounds relating to your particular situation.

RPO trial participants should contact the study site at which they participated in the RPO trial, or the sponsor or principal investigator of the study, to inquire about choices and means available for limiting the use and disclosure of their personal data under applicable data privacy laws.
If you are located in the EU, you can also lodge a complaint about our processing of your personal information with the data protection authority of the Member State of your habitual residence, of your place of work, or of an alleged infringement of your rights.
